Niamac Developments Ltd (SafeGlaze UK) | www.safeglazeuk.com Reviews
When researching the leading Double Glazing Companies it was SafeGlaze UK that took the 4th highest ranked web traffic position behind the 3 majors. Achieving this rank has been remarkable when you consider that Niamac Developments Ltd was only put together in August 2017. In hardly any time they have jumped ahead of such established brands as Britelite and Zenith. There was some initial confusion surrounding their link with Safestyle. Both are Bradford-based and the infamous BOGOF offer was promoted on this new site that has a similar design. We later tied in that this is a new project from Safestyle’s founder (Mitu Misra) after a family member and past employee were listed on the Companies House search.
The only current way to monitor SafeGlaze’s performance is through their Alexa traffic rankings. Due to their age there are no financials posted and they don’t have a big presence on review portals, social media etc. The local rank of www.safeglazeuk.com was approx 57,000 that has already jumped from our past check of 68,000. This shows that they are either very busy with orders or are at least stepping up their advertising campaigns. We are aware that they do run localised TV ads and are spending more on web ads. Tempting buyers away from the 3 majors will prove challenging, but they do look to have the credentials to pose a bigger threat than the other big nationals.
SafeGlaze windows and doors are available, but they have stayed away from conservatories thus far. UPVC double glazed units with A ratings can be purchased that use the Eco XV branding. It was notable to see that they offer an extended 15 year guarantee. There is however just the single active membership held with the Energy Saving Trust.
SafeGlaze UK Trustpilot Score…
As of March 2018, they had received 166 reviews. The TrustScore was 94%.
Spread the Cost
There is currently no dedicated finance page, but there is a notice that they act as a broker through a panel of lenders. We did spot a Google ad of theirs that referenced interest free credit as being possible. It seems strange that they wouldn’t cover this in detail on the site.
SafeGlaze’s opening hours are matched 7 days a week from 8am until 9pm. This qualifies them as the most comprehensive when it comes to weekends. Everest had been most notable, delivering support across 8am to 9.30pm (Mon-Fri), but then 9.30am to 8pm (Sat-Sun).
Similar to Safestyle, there are no discounts pitched. They do however aim to beat rival quotations. In the offers department you can take advantage of their Buy One, Get One Free deal and whilst not confirmed it does appear that credit is available at 0% and so the value does look to be competitive here.
Coverage does appear to be fixed across England and Wales. Qualifying potential buyers can take advantage of their Lowest Price Guarantee that promises to beat any genuine like-for-like quotation. It would help if they added how long quotes remained valid for that for now remains a mystery.
A for double glazing.
Sound Reducing Windows…
Unknown. Standard protection expected at around 30db.
Styles and Sub-Styles…
Casement, French, Tilt & Turn.
Content is lacking on the ins and outs of the SafeGlaze products that is understandable considering their new age. They do however highlight that various levels of customisations are available. The Eco XV windows are available in 7 colours and a range of glass and decorative styles. It is tricky to explore the range since there are no sample galleries and you can’t currently request brochures.

Not for service, but for the failure to provide a written quotation, actually stating the work that would be covered - quote "Website Contact Us: A general question
Thank you for your enquiry.
We give free quotations, not free written quotations.
Thank you" when emailed for a written form. Of course, not giving a written form means how can you price match...
Had two doors installed by SafeGlaze and the warning signs were there from the off!
They turned up with no key to one door so left it held in place purely by expandable foam over a weekend!
The subsequent week they then came back 4 times with the wrong trim and wrong barrel to fit in my door, a week and a half later I still have the wrong barrel in the door!
The mastic around the door looked like my 7 year old daughter has had a go at it.
Where to start with the faults on the doors:
The front door is not straight, the gaps around the reveals vary along the length of the frame, the inner beading wasn’t fixed in properly and has subsequently been glued in when it should just be clipped into place, the panel in the front door is too thin so there is a gap around the inner frame panel which will leak in rain water, the the hinges on one door aren’t attached properly so a brand new door is very stiff to close.
I’ve tried for a week now to speak to a manager from safe glaze to no avail. I keep getting told they’re all ‘busy’ but an email has been sent to them explaining I am an emergency case, a week later I am still to hear from them! I have stopped my direct debit to them so hopefully once they realise they aren’t getting their money they may get in touch.
I have a major build project going on which is almost complete, I have builders waiting for the doors to be rectified so they can finish my house and SafeGlaze are costing me money, time and a lot of stress with hair poor products and even poorer customer service.
Go elsewhere at all costs!
